A fourth-generation Nevadan, Tara Huntington was born in Reno and moved to Las Vegas at the age of 10. With more than 22 years of experience in the real estate industry, Tara has built a career rooted in knowledge, dedication, and a genuine passion for the business.

Tara comes from a family with deep Las Vegas roots and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Her family owned and operated Huntington Jewelers in Las Vegas for more than 70 years, establishing a longstanding family legacy in the community before the business was sold several years ago. The values of hard work, integrity, and dedication that were part of that family business have continued to influence Tara throughout her own career.

Her mother has also been a real estate professional for more than 27 years, giving Tara a close connection to the industry while she built her own career and expertise.

Over the past two decades, Tara has experienced nearly every side of the real estate business. She began her career as a receptionist with Coldwell Banker Premier Realty and went on to work as an assistant and transaction coordinator for top-producing Las Vegas REALTORS®. Her experience also includes title and abstract research, as well as working as an escrow assistant to a million-dollar-producing escrow officer at Ticor Title.

This diverse background has given Tara a unique understanding of the real estate industry from multiple perspectives. She understands the importance of organization, communication, attention to detail, and staying one step ahead throughout a transaction.

Today, Tara is the Office Manager and right hand to the Broker/Owner of Legacy Real Estate Group, where she plays an integral role in supporting the brokerage, its agents, and day-to-day operations. She brings more than two decades of industry experience, along with her ability to problem-solve, stay organized, and support the people around her.

Tara has truly lived and breathed real estate for more than 20 years, and she genuinely loves what she does. She takes pride in being someone the Legacy team can rely on and enjoys being part of a brokerage that is growing and building something special in the Las Vegas community.

Outside of real estate, Tara has always embraced adventure and new experiences. She spent part of her life living in Florida and, in her mid-20s, had the unforgettable opportunity to live aboard a sailboat for two years—an experience she considers one of a lifetime. That chapter sparked an even greater love for the outdoors, nature, and exploring new places.

When she's not immersed in real estate, Tara loves being outdoors and exploring the great outdoors wherever she can. She enjoys hiking throughout the mountains and desert surrounding Las Vegas, as well as taking adventures to places like Zion and Bryce Canyon. She is also a passionate animal lover, with a particular soft spot for dogs and horses. When she's not exploring, she enjoys spending quality time with her fiancé and his children and making the most of life's adventures, both big and small.
